Blaqbonez Sues Odumodublvck, Demands ₦2 Billion Over Alleged Defamation
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has taken his long-running feud with fellow rapper Odumodublvck to court, filing a ₦2 billion defamation lawsuit over alleged damaging statements made against him.
According to our corespondents and other entertainment media reports, the legal action was filed through Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, with Blaqbonez accusing Odumodublvck of engaging in a sustained campaign of defamatory online publications, harassment, intimidation, and threats that allegedly harmed his reputation and commercial interests.
The lawsuit reportedly stems from a series of social media posts in which Odumodublvck allegedly referred to Blaqbonez using defamatory terms and made allegations that Blaqbonez’s legal team says are false, malicious, and damaging. The claims have not been proven in court, and Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the lawsuit at the time of writing.
As part of the suit, Blaqbonez is seeking ₦2 billion in general damages, alongside court orders compelling Odumodublvck to remove the alleged defamatory posts, issue a public apology, and refrain from making further statements that could damage his reputation. Additional claims reportedly include aggravated damages and legal costs.
The latest legal battle marks a dramatic escalation in the pair’s rivalry, which has unfolded publicly over the past several months through diss tracks, social media exchanges, and public accusations. What began as a rap feud has now entered the courtroom, setting the stage for one of the Nigerian music industry’s most closely watched legal disputes.
