Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie has debunked viral rumours claiming she is battling cancer. The speculation followed a clip from her TV show, Mercy’s Menu, which was taken out of context, leading to public concern over her recent weight loss.

In a video shared on social media, Mercy clarified that she had only experienced a “cancer scare” due to a thyroid issue, but has since received a clean bill of health. “I do not have cancer. I am perfectly fine,” she assured her fans, thanking them for their prayers and concern.

She further addressed ongoing queries about her slimmer appearance, stating that her transformation is the result of a non-surgical weight loss plan she personally follows and promotes.
