Nigerian singer Omah Lay has achieved a major international milestone as his debut album Boy Alone is now certified Gold in France.

The project becomes only the fourth Nigerian album to earn a certification in the region, further solidifying Afrobeats’ global influence. Released in 2022, Boy Alone featured hit singles like Soso and Understand, which contributed to its growing success worldwide.
