Tems achieved her greatest Spotify streaming day on June 7, 2024, the day after her debut album “Born In The Wild” was released.

Tems recorded 5.33 million global streams on the first day of her first album, placing her second behind Ayra Starr, who recorded 6.3 opening day streams for her newly released sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21.”

Her much awaited debut album, “Born In The Wild,” features 18 tracks, including two co-writes with American rapper J Cole and Nigerian musician Asake.

Tems released two singles ahead of the album’s release, “Me & U” and “Love Me Jeje,” which have amassed over 99 million and 32 million streams, respectively. Her superstar status is demonstrated by the popularity of her lead songs, and her debut album is expected to be a commercial hit.
