Anthony Joshua has been backed to have enough power to stop Tyson Fury if the long-awaited heavyweight showdown finally happens.

Peter Fury, Tyson Fury’s uncle and former trainer, said the fight could go either way, with Fury potentially outboxing Joshua or Joshua finding the right opening to land a fight-ending shot.

The comments come as talks over a potential Joshua-Fury clash continue, with Cardiff reportedly emerging as a possible venue for a December showdown. Reuters also reports that the fight is being lined up for Cardiff, although final details have yet to be officially confirmed.

Peter Fury believes the eventual winner could ultimately be decided by the tactics and game plan both fighters bring into the ring.
