Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, Chidimma Adetshina, appeared before the Cape Town Regional Court on Monday as legal proceedings surrounding her South African immigration status continued.

The beauty queen was seen arriving at the court amid heightened public interest in the case, which stems from an ongoing dispute over her citizenship and immigration documentation. Following arguments from both parties, the court reserved judgment until August 19.

Adetshina’s case has attracted significant attention in both Nigeria and South Africa since she withdrew from the Miss South Africa pageant in 2024 after questions were raised about her nationality.
