Spain are reportedly ready to reward Luis de la Fuente with a new contract after his historic World Cup triumph.

According to Reuters, De la Fuente has agreed to extend his deal with the Spanish national team until the 2030 World Cup, keeping him in charge as Spain prepare to defend their title on home soil.

The 65-year-old coach has enjoyed a remarkable run, leading Spain to Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup, while building one of the most successful eras in the country’s football history.

With the 2030 World Cup set to be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, the Spanish FA clearly wants De la Fuente to remain at the helm for what could be another historic chapter.
